plodding along

Since I last wrote I've been to Forster for a few days and have just been plodding along with my exercise and WW program. I lost 600 grams this week and that brings me to a total of 8.5 kilos lost. Another 600 grams and I will be under 100. I'm looking forward to that!

I don't feel the best today. I'm tired, lethargic and have a sore throat.I'm premenstrual and feel all bloated and heavy. On top of that I'm feeling quite stressed about going back to work tomorrow. Firstly, I don't have anybody to look after the kids tomorrow so will probably have to take them with me. Not ideal. Secondly, I haven't done much prep and haven't even looked at the marking I brought home. Why do I do this to myself? I get so overwhelmed I become paralysed.

The plan today is to finish sipping this hot water, lemon and honey, take some panadol and to organise my work into bundles. I'll take the advice I give the students. Break it down, prioritise etc. I'll do an hour, take a break and do something else and then another hour and so on. The girls will be back from their dad's this afternoon and I'll cook a nice raost for dinner. I'm going to eat all my points today. I've been saving them to cover the excesses of my few days away ( not that I went too far over but still) and now that things are back to normal I'm going back to eating them all. I think that is what works best for my body and is making this sustainable. I don't have any upcoming events where I may need some extra points so there is no need.

One last thing, I finished week 2 c25k this morning. I didn't do any exercise yesterday as my throat was sore, but forced myself to do some this morning. I intended to just do a walk, but once I was moving I thought I may as well just do it.
